Working with C.T. Refinishing

So, you've hired us to work on your floors (awesome!) Here's what to expect...

-We ask that you have the room clear of furniture before our arrival. We work with a few moving companies that can help with this step.

-We arrive at 8am and work until 3-4pm most days. We typically do not work weekends. If there are changes to our work schedule we will let you know.

-Below is an outline of a typical 1 week project.

Day 1

-Site protection is applied

-We vacuum our workspace & connect to our power source (usually a 220/240v outlet found at the dryer or range.)

-Sanding begins

-Compete rough sanding (removing the old finish) from field and edges

-Detail work begins, we use LED lights while we're sanding to ensure there is no visible scratch pattern left on the floor.

-Samples are applied

-Sanding and thorough cleaning is completed

-Your choice of stain or sealer is applied

-Top coats are expertly applied. We abrade between coats to achieve a buttery smooth finish.

Completion

-Final clean up

-C.T. will do a walk through to make sure the results are excellent

-You enjoy your awesome new floor

-Most top coats will be dry within 2 hours, but it is recommended to wait 3 days before replacing furniture
