Q: Will it be dusty?
We take great care to keep your home clean as possible throughout the process. Our sanders are connected to dust extractors, which capture approximately 99% of the dust generated. To manage the remaining 1%, we utilize plastic barriers and air scrubbers. While some dust is inevitable during hardwood floor installation and refinishing, many of our clients have noted how tidy their homes remained during our work. (See reviews)
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Each project is unique, so we don't use a standardized price per square foot for refinishing or installation. The typical refinishing project averages between $6 - $10/sqft. The average installation cost is between $5 - $7/sqft for installation plus materials and finishing.
Q: How Long will it take?
A: We can sand and finish up to about 700sqft per week. Other factors such as staircases, radiators, repairs etc.. can add to the length of the project
Q: How durable will the floor be?
A: This depends on how you treat the floor and which finish you choose. We use the finest top coats available. With proper care they will look good for years and years. We will ask about your situation (young kids, dogs etc..) and what aesthetic you'd like, then make a finish recommendation that is right for you!
